How I do it

  • 1/ COLLECT

I collect those treasures that cross my path, what catches my attention, my curiosity, what moves me.

  • 2 / PLAY

I set up my game board on the table or on the floor. I only use natural light, most of the time the one that comes through my window. I organize, make the pieces dance, and have a dialogue with the treasures I’ve collected.

  • 3 / TAKE THE SHOT

When I finally have everything in place, I take the photo, and I allow myself to be amazed by what is revealed to me.

How it all started.

The year 2023 was a pivotal one for me; I started a photographic diary. I officially began on April 6th during a full moon. My idea was to take one photo a day and publish it no matter what, without excuses. This may seem insignificant to many, but for me, it was a huge challenge, a titanic struggle against my own shadow: the lack of consistency.

Against all odds, to my surprise, I was able to maintain this rhythm until day #281. Despite the unforeseen events, the exhaustion, and the countless excuses I told myself to give up, perseverance and the spark of wonder guided me. So, day after day, this practice transformed me.

It’s true, I didn’t reach the coveted #365, but the journey left deep marks on me. The habit of observing, of seeking beauty in the everyday, of playing with light and shadow, has shaped my perspective.

Life is movement, it’s about continuing to walk, and I want to enjoy this walk, step by step, day by day, as long as God allows me, observing and delighting in His masterpiece.

Would you come with me?
