Chronica Natura is my visual project where I try to capture the magic of nature, the kind that often goes unnoticed in our day-to-day lives. I believe that, amid the chaos of daily life, it is essential to pause and rediscover the world around us: those small details, those forgotten traces, those "objects" that, when seen through the eyes of a child, transform into true treasures.
My goal is that, through my images, you can reconnect with that curious gaze, the one where gathering stones, leaves, and sticks felt like discovering a new universe.
Nature has this subtle, yet profound way of gifting us beauty. In every corner, in every texture, there's an entire world waiting to be discovered.

I’m Maru, and I dedicate myself to capturing the beauty of the small treasures that nature gifts me. Every leaf, every flower, every stone has a story to tell. My process is simple but full of meaning: I select, arrange them on a table, and with my camera, I immortalize those details that we often overlook.
Life itself
My journey started in graphic design, but it was motherhood that taught me to stop and admire what is right in front of me: on the balcony, in the park, in the most unexpected corner.
The present
Today, I am more aware than ever of how important it is to live slowly. To enjoy the little things. To be selective with what I choose for my day-to-day life, to prioritize what truly connects and fulfills me. Motherhood taught me to value those fleeting moments I used to ignore. And beyond that, I realize that the greatest gift one can give is to share what you love most, what makes you feel alive.
Today, through photography, I find a space to share what I am most passionate about: those details that make life unique and special.
